Jackson Russell Wanlass
Jackson, with his wife Jane and children, crossed the Atlantic on the ship Columbia in 1856. For a number of years they lived in Richmond, Ray County, Missouri where Jane died. According to the obituary of Sarah Wanlass Atwood, Jackson's daughter, father and children did not cross the plains in a Mormon Pioneer Company. The first documentation to place the family in Utah is Jackson's re-baptism in the Lehi Ward on 10 April 1864.
