James Bird

Evidence that his family came in 1850 is confirmed in information found in Church financial records.

James' wife, Margaret Montgomery Bird, died in 1849.  Mary Frances Rich was an orphan.  She likely assisted James with caring for his children as they came to Utah.  Mary Frances is listed with James and his children in the 1850 Utah census.  They were married in Salt Lake City on 13 June 1856.
