James Burrows Davenport

Although cemetery sexton records indicate birth date was 23 October 1852, Utah Death Certificate indicate his date of birth as 23 October 1851.  This information is further ratified by his name listed in the Journal History and the company roster.  If he was born towards the end of October of 1852, he would not have appeared on either of these record, as the company arrived in the valley at the beginning of October 1852.
