James Caffall
James sailed to America in 1853 on the Falcon with his wife Eliza and two children, Eliza and Jane. No proof has been found to confirm that the children survived and came to Utah. Another child was born in St. Louis, Missouri in August 1860. James was rebaptized in November 1861 in Salt Lake City. Further research is needed to determine the name of the company the family traveled to Utah with. He joined the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints 8 April 1864 in Salt Lake City and returned to Council Bluffs, Iowa in 1866.
