James Carlos Moon
Known as Carlos Moon in contemporary documents he appears in the 1850 federal census of Utah in the household of Hugh and Maria Moon. He was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at Salt Lake City on 2 July 1854 by Hugh Moon and was with the family in the 1860 census. According to a secondary source located in Family Tree and based on the recollections two of Hugh and Maria Moon's granddaughters, Carlos was the eldest son of the family.
