James Clawson
James Clawson was christened Jens Jensen, which is the name he seen using on the Deseret News roster. After arriving in America, he began using his father's surname of Clawson. We have not been able to document the ship he traveled on, though family tradition, as seen in a history on Family Tree, indicates he traveled on the ship Callhound, arriving in New York on 20 March 1864. He traveled alone.
