James Eager
James was indirectly listed in the company roster in William Chipman's notebook under his step-father Richard Hemsley. He was listed as James Hager in the Deseret News on 26 September 1866.
The 1851 and 1861 censuses indicate that James was born sometime between 1844 and 1846. More research is needed concerning James's birth and death dates. Birth date listed above reflects family tradition from Family Tree at FamilySearch.org.
