James Ladle
On the 1866 manifest of the ship American Congress, the James is incorrectly listed as "William Ladle."
The Thompson company records only list heads of household, but the notation showing that James purchased 3 1/2 adult food rations indicates his family made the overland trip with him as well.
In the 1870 federal census the family was living in Farmington, Utah and their surname was spelled "Luelle."
