James Leonard James

James and his sister arrived in New York on  24 July 1866 via the ship St. Mark. As head of household, only James' name is listed on the overland company roster but his sister's obituary confirms that they made the overland portion of the trip together. The overland roster actually indicates that James purchased three adult food rations for the overland portion of the journey. Further research is needed to identify who was the third person in their traveling party.
