James Mitchell

Evidence from immigration and church records proves that the Mitchell family traveled to Utah between 1851 and 1853. they sailed to America in 1850 on the ship North Atlantic, arriving in New Orleans in November. The first documentation to place them in Utah is a church record in Journal History 20 Nov. 1853, which states that they had left for California.
