James Pulley
His obituary in the Salt Lake Herald says he came to Utah in 1848 but the ones in the Deseret News and the Improvement Era say he came in 1856. Further research is needed to determine the correct year and the name of the company with which he and his family traveled.
Their daughter, Alice Jane, was born in Council Bluffs in January 1855. Based on that date, it is most likely they traveled to Utah between 1855-1856.
