James Shore
James and his family appear on the 1860 federal census at Cincinnati, Ohio. He and his father (Thomas) also paid taxes at Salt Lake City in 1860. Thus the family must have crossed the plains that summer although James' obituary says he arrived in Utah in 1859. Additional research is needed to identify the name of the pioneer company with which the family traveled.
