James Simmons

The first documentation to place him in the Valley is a rebaptism (along with his wife) on 21 March 1857 in the Seventeenth Ward. That record lists his birth date and indicates that his parents' names were Thomas Simmons and Hannah Evans, and his place of birth was "Washington City." Further research is needed to determine exactly who they were, narrow their year of travel, and identify the name of the company they traveled with.
