James Stevenson
James, his wife Martha and children Sarah, John, Lucy, Agnes, Emma and Esther sailed to America in 1855 on the ship Siddons.
The Stevenson family resided in Philadelphia for a couple years before coming West. James' daughter, Lucy, is mentioned in the Terry account, confirming that the family traveled in the Hofheins company. (Terry was actually in the Hart Company, but the Hart company consisted of individuals from St. Louis and the Hart and Hofheins companies traveled together for a large part of the journey.)
