James Thomas Underwood

Brother of William Joseph Underwood. He came with his wife Ellen and three children George, Fredrick, and Louise. James, Ellen, George, and Fredrick emigrated from England in 1866 by way of the ship American Congress. Louise was born in 1867 in New York. The Underwood family then continued their westward journey in 1868 as part of the William S. Seeley Company.
