Jane Ann Allen

Evidence from emigration and church ordinance records proves that Jane traveled to Utah sometime between 1860 and 1867. She sailed to America in 1860, but the first documentation to place her in Utah is a church ordinance which was performed in April 1868, which was prior to the arrival of that season's emigration. Her obituary states that she came to Utah "sixty-two years ago," which would make her travel about 1865, but further research is needed to confirm her year of travel and the name of the pioneer company she traveled with.
