Jane Elizabeth Mayer
Jane traveled from England to Utah sometime before her marriage to Samuel Whitney Richards on 16 February 1856 at Salt Lake City. A secondary source says she crossed the Atlantic on the ship Germanicus in 1854 but her name does not appear on the ship's manifest of that year. Additional research is needed to identify the exact year she emigrated and the name of the pioneer company with which she crossed the plains.
