Jane Freeman Pea Horner
Second wife of William E. Horner. Her husband purchased land in Salt Lake City on 2 December 1851 so she may have crossed the plains with him before that date. However, the first documentary evidence to clearly place her in Utah is the birth of a child on 27 November 1852 at Salt Lake City. She was re-baptized on 29 April 1855 in the Salt Lake City 19th Ward. Additional research is needed to identify the exact year she crossed the plains and the name of the pioneer company with which she traveled.
