The 1859 William Tapscott ship register lists the family as: Caroline (61), wife; Maria (33), spinster; John (23), clogger; Alice (22), spinster; and Jane (20), spinster.In some sources her surname is spelled "Hansen".Jane may have left the company before she arrived in Utah.
