Jane Lathrop
Jane is the widowed sister of Robert Lathrop. The family sailed to America in 1868 on the ship Colorado.
Evidence from emigration and biographical records proves that they traveled to Utah in 1868. They may have traveled in the 1868 Simpson M. Molen Company, but there is no roster for that company, so further research is needed to confirm the name of the company with which they traveled to Utah.
The inscription on her gravestone shows her birth and death dates as 31 July 1809 - 1 January 1877.
The 1870 Utah census shows that she was living with her daughter-in-law Bridget Lane.
