Although her and her husband Joseph's names are not seen explicitly on the Tidwell Company records, her son's name (William Westwood) is there with a notation that his traveling group consisted of 15 people. Jane and her husband were in St. Louis at the time of the 1850 census and are in the Valley in 1852, as indicated by the 1852 Bishop's census. So, it is assumed that Joseph and Jane were among the 15 that traveled with his son, William.
