Jane Rowley

Jane and her sister Elizabeth crossed the Atlantic on the ship Windermere in 1854.  They borrowed a small amount of money from the Perpetual Emigrating Fund.  Further research is needed to determine the name of the pioneer company with which they crossed the plains.  In October 18512 Jane married Thomas R. Read in Utah.  In the 1856 Utah Territorial census she and her family were in Weber County.  Jane's birth and death dates are confirmed by her death certificate.
