Jasper Henry Lawn
Son of John Henry and Eunice Corinthia Twitchell Long (Lawn). On the original roster of the Heber C. Kimball Company Jasper, his mother and his brothers, are listed with the surname "Long." Later in life the boys went by the name "Lawn" because that is the name their father used during his service in the Mexican War. In the 1850 California census Jasper (Henry), his brother James and their mother were living in Sacramento, California under the surname "Beckwith." (Eunice had re-married.)
