Jennet Jones

She was a single woman.  Her given name is listed as "Janette" in some records.  At the time of her death, her name was "Jennet Jones Roberts. 

She sailed to America in 1862 on the ship William Tapscott.  The ship manifest lists her as a "spinster."

Her 30 May 1841 birth date is confirmed by her birth certificate issued by the General Register Office of England shown in Figure 1, page 13.  The 1841 Wales Census, which taken 12 June 1841, also shows her as being one week old.
