Jerusha Kibbee Elmer
Evidence from church, newspaper, and genealogical records proves she traveled to Utah in 1851.
The inscription on her gravestone shows her name as "Jerusha Elmer Spencer," and it shows her birth date as 10 May 1844, and her death date as 28 March 1922. Her death certificate shows her birth date as 10 May 1843, and her death date as 28 March 1922. Note that it also incorrectly spells her name as "Jrushia Spencer." The 1900 Utah census also shows her birth date 10 May 1844.
