Johan Olsen
The Olsen family likely traveled to Utah in 1863, the year they sailed to America and the year Karen Olsen took a PEF loan for their emigration. They possibly came in the Murdock Company with other family members.
He came on the ship, John J. Boyd in 1863 with his wife Karen and children: Martine O, Olaus, Walborg, Lillie O., and Calo O. (Charles I). The index to the ship manifest shows his name as "S. Olsen," but the original manifest shows him as "J. Olsen." His one son, Martin is in the Murdock Company. His son, Charles is listed as Johnson.
