Johanna Charlotta Granne

The Orell family sailed to America in 1866 on the ship Humboldt, and the obituary of Charles Ernest Orell states that he came to Utah with his mother in 1866.  Further research is needed to determine the name of the pioneer company with which the family came to Utah.

The inscription on her gravestone shows her name as "Johanna C. Orell," and her birth and death dates are listed as follows:  16 September 1824 - 10 January 1906.  

Her death certificate shows her name as "Johanna Charlotta Orell," and it shows her birth and death dates as follows: 16 August 1824 - 10 January 1906.
