John Acomb
John, his wife Ann and children Elizabeth, Hannah and John sailed to America in 1855 on the ship S. Curling.
Deseret News article reports he came with a wife and 2 children. However, the three children on the ship with him and his wife all made it to the Valley. It is possible that his oldest daughter was mistaken for his wife since some reports indicate that his wife, Ann, died in Missouri. Further research is needed.
