John Andrew Miller
He came to Utah in either 1849 or 1850. His name does not appear on the 1848 Salt Lake property list indicating he probably came after 1848. The first documentation to place him in Utah is the 1850 Utah census. His obituary and biographical information in the Utah Stake Genealogical Surveys give incorrect arrival dates of 1851 and 1852. The 1850 census disproves those dates. Further research is needed to narrow his year of travel.
His birth and death dates are confirmed by the inscription on his gravestone.
