John Ashton
John was born in England. His name does not appear in the 1850 Utah census. The first documentation to place him in Utah is his re-baptism which took place in Salt Lake City 27 April 1852, this was prior to the arrival of that season's emigration. Further research is needed to determine the name of the pioneer company with which he traveled.
