John Ashworth
John traveled from England in 1848 with his wife Ann and son William on the ship Erin's Queen. They arrived in New Orleans on 28 October 1848 and then traveled to St. Louis, Missouri where Ann died of cholera. John married Sarah Ann Fletcher Siddle at St. Louis, on 13 December 1849.
