John Daniel Grant

John, his wife Margaret and children Mary Ann and Ruth sailed to America in 1863 on the ship Cynosure. 

Perpetual Emigrating Fund records proves the Grant family traveled to Utah in 1863. Church ordinances performed in the Centerville Ward also place him in the area by 1 November 1863.  Birth date confirmed by Centerville Ward records.
