John Edward Batchelor

John Edward came to Utah by 1868.  The first documentation to place him in Utah are church ordinances performed in August 1868.  Further research is needed to narrow the year of his travel.

His death date is confirmed by his death certificate.  His name is "E. John Batchelor" on the 1880 Utah census.

John's father, Edward Batchelor, came to Utah in 1862 with the James S. Brown pioneer company.  His mother and other siblings came in 1862.  A secondary source states the both he and his father came to Utah prior to the arrival of his mother, but a primary source is needed to confirm this information.
