John Edwin Buckwalter
Son of John and Sarah Shuler Buckwalter. John Edwin originally crossed the plains in the John S. Higbee/James W. Bay Company (1852) with his widowed mother and siblings.
In 1855 he again traveled to Utah, this time in the John Hindley Company, with his brother Henry after visiting with friends and relatives in Pennsylvania.
In the 1856 Utah census he was in "Lake City" (American Fork).
