John Horatio Thorpe

John sailed to America in 1857 with his sister Martha on the ship George Washington.  He was married in November 1868 in Samaria, Idaho to Rachel Jane Wight. Further research is needed to determine the name of the pioneer company he traveled to Utah with.

His name appears in the Territorial Militia Records with the date 16 June 1863, in Cache County, Utah.
