John Lambert
In her autobiography, Elena Dorothy Lambert Michie (1863-1957), wrote that her father, John Lambert, came to Utah in 1850 in Lorenzo Young's company. In March 1893, about eight months before he died, John Lambert attested that he came to Utah in 1850 in Thomas Johnson's company. Johnson was a captain of fifty in Benjamin Hawkins's company. Lambert's 1893 statement was dictated to his son, Joseph Heber Lambert, and witnessed by his second wife, Elena Hansena Larsen Lambert, and his daughter, Emeline Agnes Lambert Carpenter.
