John Nock Hinton

John and Emma sailed to America in 1861 on the ship Underwriter.  The ship manifest has incorrectly recorded his name as "John W. Hinton."  John and Emma were married while on the ship.

Evidence from emigration and records proves the Hinton family traveled to Utah in 1861. Further research is needed to determine the name of the company with which they traveled to Utah.
