John Pymm
John initially traveled to the Salt Lake Valley as clerk of the Jesse B. Martin Company in 1857. Along the trail, his son, Seth, had the wagon wheel run over him, which resulted in a broken arm according to Robert McQuarrie’s Journal.
According to New FamilySearch/Family Tree, his family left from Liverpool, England, on the George Washington on 28 March 1857. According to passenger lists, he traveled with his wife, Sarah Tabberer, and children, Anne P., Sarah Ann, and Seth Austin. They traveled with 817 other LDS Immigrants. They arrived in Boston on 20 April 1857.
His surname is spelled "Brymn" in McQuarie journal. Evidence that he came in 1857 is confirmed in information found in Church financial records.
