John Reese
The Reese family traveled to the Salt Lake Valley with the Allen Taylor Company in 1849. The Reese family included Enoch and his wife Hannah Harvey, and their children Enoch Moroni and James H. Enoch’s brother John also traveled with the company. Enoch was the captain of the 2nd fifty.
John's name does not appear on the 1848 Salt Lake property list, but is on the 1850 Utah census.
