John Samuel Humphries

He had to have come in 1851 because his name isn't on the 1850 Utah census (taken in spring 1851) and he was endowed in Utah in March 1852, prior to the arrival of the 1852 emigration. Various sources give different birth years, e.g., 1825 or 1826, but 1827 is the year given on his death certificate and the 1900 Utah census. His birth and death dates are confirmed by his death certificate.
