
John Turner Garr
John, son of Fielding Garr, initially traveled to the Salt Lake Valley in the Jedediah M. Grant - Willard Snow Company in 1847.
In 1852, he traveled with the Amasa M. Lyman/Charles C. Rich Company of 1852 from California to Utah.
He later participated as one of the rescuers that were sent out in the winter of 1856 to assist the members of the Church stranded in Wyoming.
