Joseph Pankhurst Risley
Joseph joined a part of the company led by John Hindley that left the Daley company at Fort Laramie and traveled the rest of the way separately.
His name is listed in the Moses Daley Freight Company journal, but there is no company roster. Joseph and Hannah were married on 5 March 1853 in St. Louis, Missouri and the Moses Daley pioneer company departed for Utah on 6 July 1853. It is likely that Joseph's wife Hannah and her daughter Ellen Adams accompanied him to Utah in the Moses Daley company.
