Julia Emeline Mecham

Emeline crossed the plains with her family. The obituary of Martha confirms the family's travel to Utah in 1852.

She later married George Hyrum Sweat and they had 10 children. She is buried in the Heber City Cemetery.

Her birth and death dates are confirmed by the inscription on her gravestone, which shows her name as "Julia E. Sweat."
