Karen Petersen
Her surname is spelled "Fredrickson" or "Fredricksen" in some sources. There is some question about which company her family traveled in. The obituary of her son, Lars Peter, indicates that he and his parents, traveled in the Canute Peterson Company in 1856. However, the Mount Pleasant Historical Association listed her and her husband as traveling in the Smoot Company and Lars Peter in the Hunt company. Further research is needed to determine which is accurate.
