Katurah Vaughan

Evidence from emigration and genealogical records proves that Katurah traveled to Utah by 1852. She is listed on the 1849 Buena Vista ship manifest with her husband William, but we have not found any evidence that he survived long enough to arrive in Utah with her. She married Charles Vincent in Salt Lake City 9 May 1853, which was prior to the arrival of that season's emigration. Further research is needed to confirm her year of travel and the name of the company she traveled with.
