Knud Mortensen

Knud, his mother Mette, wife Karen and children Morten, Inger, Elizabeth, Peter, Willard and Camilla sailed to America in 1863 on the ship B. S. Kimball.

Local church financial records noted that Karen Mortensen traveled in the William Preston company. We have chosen to rely on Morten Mortensen's memory of the company his family traveled in, but lacking rosters for both companies, it is possible they traveled in the Preston company.
