Leslie Conrad Atwood

After two years of service in the New Zealand Mission, Elder Atwood died in Tiri Tiri Hospital, Auckland, New Zealand, of tuberculosis meningitis following violent headaches. His body was shipped home to Vernal in a casket of "kauri" wood, more valuable than mahogony.  Two immense wreaths of ferns and roses, the gift of his co-laboring elders of Auckland and the saints in that mission, adorned his casket at the funeral.
