The obituary of Lois Ann and genealogical records proves that the Jordan family traveled to Utah 1851. Lois Ann Coon Jordan's obituary states that they came in 1851. A son was born in December 1851 at Salt Lake City. Her son, Ransom Abraham Stevens also traveled with her.  Her birth and death dates are confirmed by her obituary.
