Served in San Diego where she was given a ring by the Relief Society at a social given in her honor for her generous and 'untiring' work in the organization. Many will remember her as one of the best speakers among the lady missionaries of the mission where she can hold large crowds 'spellbound' for 45 minutes in her street messages (Calimis 8:3).
