Luana Sparks

The inscription on her gravestone in California shows her name as "Luana, Wife of G. W. Sparkes" but her surname in the 1850 California census and her husband's early records spell the surname "Sparks."  A son was born to them at Cottonwood, Utah on 12 September 1848.  Some sources spell her given name as "Lussiann."  She was baptized a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on 27 July 1864.
